The clocks change this Sunday, just enough time to binge one more series

With the clock change this Sunday, comes more light in the evening, which could lead to more time in our gardens and less time in front of the TV, which isn’t a bad thing at all. With this in mind, though, we thought now would be a great time to look at some of the most-watched shows on Netflix from the past few months. You might even be able to squeeze a couple in before BBQ season starts.

Behind Her Eyes

Premiering in February, if you haven’t started the six-part British, supernatural psychological thriller series yet, now is the perfect time to get sucked into the story based on the 2017 novel by Sarah Pinborough. We don’t want to ruin the story for you, however, if you love your drama dark and your stories twisted, then you will love this show that follows Louise, a single mother, her new boss David and his wife Adele through their unlikely friendship that arises after an affair. If the word ‘supernatural’ put you off, ignore it as it has no demons, witches, ghosts or anything of that ilk. And at only 6 episodes long, you can easily binge it before Sunday.

RuPaul’s Drag Race

Entering its 13^th season, and second in the UK, if you haven’t started RuPaul’s Drag Race yet, what have you been doing? It’s not just a show about drag queens, it’s a show about empowerment, and is quite simply one of the funniest, touching and entertaining reality shows ever. With a celebrity panel of judges including Michelle Visage and Ross Matthews in the US and Alan Carr and Graham Norton in the UK, the show has earned RuPaul five consecutive Emmys as we watch the contestants put through their paces to become RuPaul’s ‘next drag superstar.’ With two new challenges every week, just like Pringles, ‘Once you pop, you can’t stop!’

Bridgerton

You must have been hiding under a rock to not have heard of Bridgerton. This period drama, based on Julia Quinn’s novels and set in Regency-era London’s ton, took the world by storm when it was first released on Christmas day last year. In fact, it has gone on to become the most-watched series on Netflix, with the eight-episode first season being viewed by over 82 million households! The drama centres on the aristocratic Bridgerton family. The widow Violet, Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton is mother to eight children, four sons and four daughters. The show centres on her eldest daughter Daphne as she enters her first season, and with Queen Charlotte’s favour she meets Simon Bassett, the Duke of Hastings. We won’t ruin the rest for you…
